How to connect Inboxy to Claude

Add Inboxy to Claude once, and you can ask Claude about anything you saved. It finds the right saves, reads the notes and answers from them. It only reads, and you can disconnect at any time.

Connect it in Claude

You will need this address:

  1. Open connectors

    In Claude, on the web or in the desktop app, go to Customize, then Connectors.

  2. Add a custom connector

    Choose Add custom connector, paste the address above and add it.

  3. Sign in to Inboxy

    Click Connect. An Inboxy page opens: sign in with Telegram or with a code sent to your email, check who is asking, and allow access.

  4. Ask Claude

    Start a chat and ask about your saves, for example "What did I save about sourdough?". If Claude does not use Inboxy, turn the connector on from the + menu in the chat.

What Claude can and cannot do

Claude can:

  • search your saves by meaning and by exact words;
  • read a full note: the essence, key points, actions and the text read from a video;
  • browse by category, date, kind and favorites;
  • read your digests.

It cannot save, change or delete anything, and it sees only the library of the account you signed in with.

In Claude Code

Add the server, then run /mcp in Claude Code and sign in:

claude mcp add --transport http inboxy https://api.inboxyai.app/api/mcp

How to disconnect

Open the connections page, sign in and disconnect what you no longer want. Access ends at once.

In the Telegram bot, /mcp shows what is connected and /mcp revoke disconnects everything.

Questions

Do I need Inboxy Pro to connect Claude?

No. Connecting works on every Inboxy plan.

I signed up with Apple or Google. Can I connect?

Yes, if you know the email on your account: ask for a code at that address. If you signed up with Apple and hid your email, you cannot sign in on this page yet, because it does not offer Apple sign-in.

Does it work with other AI apps?

Inboxy connects through MCP and signs in with OAuth, so other apps that support both may work. We test it with Claude.
