No. The iOS app works on its own: sign in with Apple, Google, an email code or Telegram. If you do use Telegram, sign in with it and everything you forward to @InboxyAIBot lands in the same library. Android is on the way.
In the iOS app: share a link from Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Threads, X, Reddit, Safari or any other app, paste text, record a voice note, or add up to 10 screenshots at once. In the Telegram bot: links, forwarded posts, text, voice messages and PDFs. Two honest limits: video is read from a link, not from an uploaded file, and the bot does not read photos yet - send screenshots through the app.
That’s the case Inboxy is built for. Speech is transcribed, and in short videos the text shown in the frames is read alongside it - the grams in a recipe, a list, a slide. When there is no speech at all - a recipe set to music, captions only, slides - the frames are all Inboxy reads. Photo carousels are read slide by slide.

Inboxy pulls out the factual claims, checks each one against live web sources and marks it supported, disputed, misleading or unverifiable, with the reasoning and the sources. It’s AI working from search results, so treat it as a well-sourced second opinion, not a final ruling.

Your library is private to your account: nobody else sees what you save, and there is no advertising and no third-party analytics on it. You can leave anytime - export everything to Markdown or JSON on any plan, and delete your account whenever you want.

Your library sits in a Postgres database on a server we rent in Ukraine. Traffic to it is encrypted in transit.
Who reads it
Google Gemini writes the summaries; Groq transcribes audio. Both under their standard data processing terms.
What we don’t do
No third-party analytics, no advertising, no selling your data. Nobody else sees what you save.
Leaving
Export the whole library to Markdown or JSON, from the app or the bot, on any plan. Delete your account in the app, or ask us and it goes.
