A mymind alternative for people who save video
mymind is a calm, private place for images, bookmarks and notes. Inboxy does a different thing: it watches the videos you save and hands you the words. If your saves are mostly visual, stay where you are. If they are mostly Reels, read on.

Who this page is for
You like the idea behind mymind - save it and stop organizing - but most of what you save is video: a Reel with a recipe, a TikTok with a tip, a YouTube explainer. A beautiful card with a cover on it does not tell you what was said inside.
These two overlap less than the word “alternative” suggests, and this page treats them that way.

Where mymind is better
mymind has a clear point of view, and these are the places it wins.
A visual space
mymind is made “for visual minds”: your saves become a board you can search by color, object or style, and Same Vibe gathers images with a similar look. Inboxy is a list of notes. It has no mood board and no visual search.
Calm by design
mymind promises no social features, no collaboration, no ads and no tracking. Inboxy also has no ads and no third-party analytics, but it is a busier tool on purpose: digests, reminders, a daily review card.
Images and references
AI image tagging, text recognition in images and visual search are what mymind is built on. Inboxy reads the text in screenshots and carousels, but it is not a place to collect images.
Reading mode and article backup
On its Mastermind plan mymind stores whole articles, even if the original is deleted, and shows them without clutter. Inboxy gives you its note and the link, not a reading view.
More platforms
Android, macOS and browser extensions for Chrome, Edge and Safari. Inboxy is an iOS app and a Telegram bot.
Where Inboxy is different
mymind keeps what you see. Inboxy writes down what was said.
It reads the video
Share a Reel, a TikTok or a YouTube link. Inboxy transcribes the speech, and when there is no usable speech - music only, captions only - it reads the text shown in the frames instead.
Every save becomes a note
A one-line essence, key points and action items, filed under a category and tags without you doing it.
You can ask it
Ask in plain words and get an answer built from your own saves, with the saves it came from cited.
One-tap fact-check
Any saved post can be checked claim by claim against live web sources. It is AI working from search results: a sourced second opinion, not a ruling.
Capture through Telegram
Forward a link, a post or a voice message to @InboxyAIBot. There is no app to open and nothing to install.
English, Ukrainian, Russian
The interface and the notes are in your language, whatever language the video speaks. Any summary translates in a tap.
Moving from mymind
Inboxy has no importer, for mymind or for anything else. Moving means sharing again: send the links you still want to the Telegram bot, or share them to the iOS app.
Images, notes and boards you keep in mymind have no equivalent in Inboxy and would not come across. The two hold different things, and using both is a reasonable answer.
Questions
Is Inboxy a visual bookmarking tool like mymind?
No. Inboxy turns what you save - mostly video - into text notes you can search and ask questions of. It has no visual board.
What does each one do with video?
mymind’s pricing page describes video support as uploading video files, up to 500 MB each, on the Mastermind plan. Inboxy works from a link: it transcribes the speech, or reads the on-screen text when there is none, and writes a note.
How do the prices compare?
When this page was last checked, mymind listed plans at $4.99, $7.99 and $12.99 a month. Inboxy has a Free plan with monthly limits and Pro at $6.99 a month or $39.99 a year in the iOS app.
Is Inboxy private?
Your library is private to your account, with no advertising and no third-party analytics. To write the notes, what you save is processed by AI providers (Google Gemini, Groq). The privacy policy lists every one of them.
Try it on the next thing you save.
